max got into a bag of potatos last night and was playing with them all night. he even managed to get one upstairs!! what the fuck? i took a pic of him with one of said offending items. i had to throw away almost the whole bag because they had teeth marks and dirt all over them. but they do roll around nicely...
what a jerk, he also was chewing on my vaccum bags that i've been packing stuff in and one is all inflated and fucked now. my cat is as destructive as a dog. what a little chimp!

Fri, August 27, 2004 - 11:55 AMyeah it sucks but it's probably for the best. my mom has a zero tolerance policy on taking care of things that need attention - like animals and children. it's really strange because she only started being like that when i turned about 16... anyway i think she wouldn't have liked his company and she was telling me she wanted to keep him a rabbit cage at night so he didn't get into trouble...
that's when i first started to get doubts.
i tell you if it's not one thing it's the other with me...! :P -

I have to research the transatlantic cat transit thing myself in the event of a future move back home (nothing planned, just in case I need to do it), so I'll post anything cheap that I find.
I guess Peeps likes potatoes too. Her favorite soft food is Innova--it has small cubes of potato in it, so when Taco returns stateside, that's another treat in store for him.
On an aside: as a resident alien, I am trapped inside today (or at least it feels like it) as I dare not march through Manhattan lest I get arrested and deported. I am watching NY1's coverage of the march and wishing I was there, even under 90 heat, humidity and enough sun to fry my white white skin in minutes. NYC is more united even than it was after 9/11 as we're all banding together against the shrub, the chimp, the evil cheney and Halliburton, Inc.
