I had to send buddy and zora to live with my mom for several months once. I missed them and felt guilty for those moments I was glad they weren't there (no litter box, no cat hair, ahhhh.) My friend the white coat told me they probably didn't care. that hurt. my mom said they missed me. They sent cards and e-mails, which was great. Im sure he misses you. -

Fri, October 15, 2004 - 1:20 PMhey i used to raise birds, i love birds. my birds were kick ass and spoiled rotten. they gave me lots of kisses and danced to hip hop music.
i'll get max as soon as i get my own place, which i dont know when that will happen. i'm still waiting to get a car but my loan went through so i'll have that by the end of next week and then to get a job and then to get a place.
i just miss my max's little feet and pads... aaaaah my ickle baby boy :( -

When I'm home for the holidays, I miss Peeps and Blue so much that I carry a bundle of their fur (combed off them) and put their pictures by my bed. I am mad, I know, but I can't help it--and there are worse forms of insanity.
I really hope you and Max can be reunited soon. He has to miss you as much. I imagine you miss his nose, ears and little white and black bits too.
But it seems like you're doing OK, right? -

Wed, October 20, 2004 - 2:57 PMmoya, i was looking for an earring in box the other day and i found a little tin with some of max's baby teeth in them and i started to cry! ha ha. i understand i'm a total sap for my cat too.
i've been doing well, my break is well and truly over i feel like i need to get a job now... i'm starting to feel like a bum. still waiting to get a car but slowly everything is falling into place. i've got a good circle of friends and old people who have been falling back into my life from out of nowhere.
oh! my ex sent me new pictures of max in the mail the other day and they are so cute i need to get them scanned. i'm babbling
skyrats! pigeons are disgusting DISGUSTING. especially the ones with no toes. it's sad but that totally makes me gag. my first boyfriend's apartment had a gaggle of pigeons like on his roof and they used to make that awful noise they make and you'd hear it early in the morning. pigeons and goats. hate em. -

What kind of job are you looking for--are you going to teach or curate or what?
As for Max's teeth, I'm glad I'm not the only one saving kitten teeth--I have one of Peeps'. Alas, I now also have the adult replacement canine that fell out a couple of weeks ago. Right now it is on top of the TV, all brown at the top and white at the bottom. I can't bring myself to move it as it makes me sad. The girl herself seems to be fine, though.

Fri, October 15, 2004 - 2:21 PMyou'll have to excuse the bird attack, but my mom's birds (macaws) are evil! i know not all birds are this way, i'm just never sure which ones. i have a scar from one of them on my forearm and the other ones always try to attack me on the rare occasion that i visit and my mom asks me to feed them.
at the same time, i feel like they should be given more attention, because it would make them much nicer. unfortunately, as long as they try to kill me, i'm not going near them. (singing is the only thing that pacifies them, but it doesn't last long.) -
